Brief bio of my life:Left school and married into the military life and and traveled the world as I did as a military child. My husband was killed in a helicopter crash in 1995 and I married another pilot. I have three children my daughter is vice president of a phone company, my oldest son works for Commercial Jet, and my youngest works for Advanced Auto. He and his oldest daughter live with me along with my Schnauzer Fritz and my two Morkies. I spend my time caring for my husband who has cancer and helping raise one of my granddaughters. Volunteered as a dental hygienist in the mission field for 10 years serving in Costa Rica, Brazil, and Mexico. I enjoy tennis, golf, fishing and most anything outside. Jacob "Jake" Linion Ballard 24 Brief bio of my life:I attended Auburn Univeristy of Montgomery and worked part-time at various jobs for a couple of years.
At age 19 I was hired by Jay R. Smith Mfg. Co. that was moving to Montgomery from New Jersey. I worked there until our second child was born and then was a stay-at-home Mom for a few years. I started as a Substitute Rural Mail Carrier with the United States Postal Service (which turned into more like full time with no benefits). I finally reached the top of the seniority list and got my own route and was Full-Time!
Then the USPS couldn't find me a sub!! So, I was still working 6 days a week most of the time.I decided to look for another job to retire from and amazingly ended up back at Jay R. Smith. That was 9 years ago and I am happy back where I started my "real" job career:)Lynn and I just celebrated our 29th anniversary and I am so blessed to have married my best friend - then & now!
